Inner Melbourne cleans differently from the rest of the city. The homes are smaller and worked harder: one-bedroom apartments, single-fronted Victorian terraces on streets with no driveway, warehouse conversions with concrete floors and windows two storeys up. Kitchens are galley-sized. Bathrooms are often the only one in the place.
Two things slow a clean here more than anywhere else, and we plan for both. Getting in, because half these addresses are behind an intercom, a fob and a lift with a booking sheet.
